TMTD-75 is a vulcanizing accelerator in natural and synthetic rubber, it can also act as a curing agent in low-sulfur and EV cure systems.The effective sulphur content is about 9.98% and its critical temperature of vulcanization is 100 °C. When used as a primary or secondary accelerator,TMTD-75 is often used together with CTP in NR, SBR, IR, BR, NBR and other diene rubber to improve rubber’s scorching safety. It is necessary to combine with zinc oxide and stearic acid when used as a primary accelerator.TMTD-75 is also used as a secondary accelerator for thiazoles and it can be used in combination with other accelerators in continuous curing systems. TMTD-75 is a scorch retarder for non-sulfonated CR.
