Product Categories: Anti-scorch agent
  • Chemical composition: N-Cyclohexylthiophthalimide
  • Complex carrier: EPDM/SBR
  • Characteristics: It is a highly effective early-stage vulcanization inhibitor that has virtually no impact on the optimum cure time. Typically used in combination with sulfonamide or thiazole-type accelerators, it effectively prevents scorching of the rubber compound during high-temperature processing, enabling high-speed, high-temperature operation of calenders and extruders—and ultimately boosting the production capacity of vulcanizing machines. Additionally, it enhances the storage stability of the rubber compound and even exhibits a regenerative effect on materials that have already undergone high-temperature treatment or are at risk of scorching.

  • Product Description
  • FST CTP-75GE
    Anti-scorch agent
    Ingredients: N-cyclohexylthiophthalimide and EPDM
    Appearance: White granules
    Density (g/cm³): 1.10 ± 0.04
    Mooney viscosity, ML (1+4) at 50°C: 45 ± 10
    Packaging: 25 kg/carton.
Shelf Life: Store in a cool, dry place for up to 12 months.
    Applications:
    1. FSTCTP-75GE is a highly effective early-stage vulcanization inhibitor with virtually no impact on sulfurization.
    2. The FST CTP-75GE effectively prevents scorching of the compound during processing, enabling high-temperature, high-speed operation of calenders and extruders while also boosting the production capacity of vulcanizing machines.
    3. FST CTP-75GE enhances the storage stability of rubber compounds, preventing natural vulcanization from occurring during extended periods of storage.
    4. FST CTP-75GE has a regenerative effect on rubber compounds that have already undergone high-temperature treatment or are at risk of scorching.
    5. FST CTP-75GE is typically used at 0.1–0.4 phr; however, exceeding 0.6 phr may lead to blooming. While higher dosages could slightly reduce tensile strength, this can be partially offset by increasing the sulfur content by 0.1–0.15 phr.
Usage: Add to the mixing feed section.
    Suggested dosage: 0.1–0.5 phr.
