First® FM-42 is a universal flow demoulding agent for rubber, formulated as a synergistic blend of saturated fatty acid soap salt and high-efficiency lubricants. This internal processing aid reduces green rubber viscosity, improves flowability, and enhances mold release across NR, SBR, BR, NBR, and EPDM compounds. Designed for extrusion molding, injection molding, and microcellular foaming, FM-42 increases shot volume in complex cavity molds, improves dimensional stability, and enables better venting to reduce bubble defects. It also functions as a dispersing agent for fillers and curatives, ensuring uniform compound quality.
