First Rubber TAIC-50P is a pre-dispersed crosslinking coagent containing 50% triallyl isocyanurate (TAIC) on an inert inorganic carrier. TAIC is a trifunctional, symmetric triazine compound (CAS 1025-15-6) that acts as an efficient co-activator in peroxide curing systems. When used together with organic peroxides such as BIPB, DCP, or 3M (29)-50P, TAIC-50P significantly improves crosslink density, increases hardness and tensile stress, enhances heat resistance, reduces compression set (low compression set even after aging), and shortens vulcanization time. It is compatible with EPDM, EVA, CPE, CSM, POE, fluororubbers, HNBR, and silicone rubber. The powder form ensures easy handling and good dispersion. Recommended coagent-to-peroxide ratio: approximately 2:1 (peroxide to TAIC-50P) on 100% active basis. Also suitable for radiation crosslinking systems for rubber and plastics.

Low crosslink density, high compression set, long cure cycles with peroxide alone? First® TAIC‑50GE is a polymer crosslinking aid. Boosts peroxide efficiency, cuts compression set, shortens cure time, enhances heat resistance. Dust‑free granules for EPDM, EVA, CPE, CSM, POE.
