YanjiFirst S-80

First Rubber S-80 is a pre-dispersed sulfur vulcanizing agent masterbatch with 80% sulfur content in an EPDM binder. It ensures rapid and uniform dispersion in natural and synthetic rubbers, preventing localized over-cure and sulfur blooming. Dust-free granules improve workplace safety and enable accurate automated feeding. Compatible with NR, SBR, BR, NBR, and EPDM. Recommended dosage: 0.5-5.0 phr.

Product Description

What is the most annoying thing about using sulphur powder? Dust everywhere, weighing mess, caking during the rainy season — and blooming on the finished product, like a white film that just won't go away.

S-80 solves all of these. It is a pre‑dispersed sulphur masterbatch with 80% active sulphur on an EPDM or SBR carrier, supplied as free‑flowing granules. No dust, no caking, accurate weighing. The granules stay dry and non‑tacky at room temperature.

But the real value is dispersion. Powder sulphur tends to form tiny agglomerates that lead to local high concentration, uneven cure, and surface blooming. S‑80 granules break apart evenly during mixing, releasing sulphur gradually as the carrier disperses into the rubber. The result: consistent cure curves, batch after batch.

For high‑volume products like tyres, hoses, conveyor belts, and shoe soles, S‑80 significantly reduces reject rates. And because dispersion is so good, you can sometimes use a slightly lower sulphur dosage compared to powder — not a huge saving per batch, but it adds up over time.

S‑80 is compatible with most accelerator systems. Typical dosage is 0.5–3.0 phr, depending on your formulation. Storage is straightforward: keep it cool and dry, and it stays stable for 12 months.

If you are tired of sulphur dust and blooming rework, S‑80 is a straightforward upgrade.
