Your continuous vulcanization line – whether salt bath, microwave, or hot air – produces rubber profiles with pinholes, blisters, or rough surfaces. The problem is worse on humid days or when your raw materials contain trace moisture. In foamed products, bubbles are uneven – some too large, some too small – leading to high reject rates. You have tried drying fillers or adding cheap desiccants, but they don't disperse well and sometimes cause scorch.

Why CaO‑80GE is different
First® CaO‑80GE is a highly effective moisture absorber and defoaming agent for both natural and synthetic rubber. It chemically binds free water inside the compound, eliminating surface defectscaused by water vapor expansion during vulcanization. Because it is pre‑dispersed in an EPDM carrier, it mixes rapidly and uniformly – no dust, no agglomerates.
